Rainer Engelmann​

Managing Director

Rainer Engelmann is a senior development executive with over 30 years’ experience leading landmark real estate and luxury hospitality projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Indian Ocean. A graduate of University of Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Science in Building, his portfolio includes amongst others, iconic developments such as the Dubai Opera house, the Address Beach Resort in JBR Dubai, One & Only Reethi Rah resort in the Maldives, and the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi. He has also led mega-scale developments in the Middle East, guiding government ministries on strategic, technical, legal, and commercial fronts. His work spans project evaluations, feasibility studies, and implementation oversight, with a strong focus on driving national economic diversification and broad-based growth. Renowned for strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, technical expertise and ability to resolve complex challenges, he has successfully delivered complicated, high-value projects from master planning and design through to construction and operational handover.

Gareth Edwards​

Project Director

Gareth Edwards is an experienced project delivery director with 18 years in the real estate and hospitality development sector, managing challenging, large-scale construction projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa. He graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering. With a strong technical background, Gareth is adept at managing the design process, placing emphasis on consultants producing well-coordinated, constructible design information that enhances certainty, minimises redesigns, and reduces site delays and costs. He has directed high-profile projects including the ultra-luxury Six Senses beach resort at the Amaala Destination on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. Known for his hands-on leadership style, and ability to align diverse stakeholders, Gareth specialises in driving projects to successful completion, whilst maintaining a rigorous focus on quality, delivery, and health and safety excellence.
